I want to share a vital tip with those of you building a business or seeking more success in life- (however you measure that) It’s 1 short word with a big impact. “ASK”
Once you know your “why” for what you do, the next step is to ASK for what you desire. This includes in relationships. Use your voice.
If we don’t ask anything, we get nothing.
At FOX studios yesterday, I decided to not only bring art supplies for the demo but some of my finished art pieces. I had 3 “whys”
- To show the final product of what we’d be painting that day (like on a cooking show where they show the gorgeous finished pie at the end ?)
- To show a piece of art I had done with my 1 year old grand baby to make it clear that using my techniques and instruction, even a baby can make beautiful art
- To show my innovative technique of creating geodes, so I brought with me “Evening With Sinatra”
I was overjoyed when they said yes to all my requests and even made my art part of the set. I also ASKED the host if we could make mention of not just now fun this art is but how relaxing and stress relieving. That was accommodated too- in the segment and on their website.
TRUTH: I had a few things going for me. They are extremely kind people over at Fox AND I knew my WHY before ever arriving at the studio. After that, all it took was ASKING for that which I most desired.
Today, practice kindly asking for what you desire after you’re clear on your WHY.
