Can Anyone Succeed in Acrylic Pouring? We Say YES!

Like so many of you, as a child I laid on the grass looking for shapes in clouds, stared at geodes and rocks as if time stood still, then I got a bit older and ached to be at the beach. Later I had many-a-conversation under star-filled skies with friends and loved ones. Those perfect moments are how my online art courses came to be!

My name is Victoria Wynn, CEO of WYNN modern art.

I specialize in realistic, peaceful and graceful fine art.

Q: I bought everything, but am scared to get started. What’s your suggestion for me to do my first pour!

A: Commit to yourself that you will stir at least 1 thing and pour at least 1 thing before the day’s end… and that’s it. That’s how I got started when I felt scared. It was 10 pm, I was in bed, I had bought all my supplies but hadn’t touched them. I heard my inner voice say: “Victoria, just stir something and pour something.”
In addition to baby steps, taking a course that’s thorough will hold your hand step-by-step as well as teach you the stuff Youtube videos do not teach! Topics such as prepping your workspace, what brands are best to use, how to keep your art from looking muddy, the best colors to use together and other core foundational practices are vital for success.

Q: I read people’s horror stories and their frustrations with acrylic pouring. What if I get it wrong?

A: First, take a deep breath. When we are in panic mode, we aren’t thinking clearly. Chemicals are rushing through our bodies that don’t help us in problem-solving or critical thinking. How do I stop that “panic rush”? Pause and take 3 deep breaths. Next is to consider solutions that you might suggest to someone else. We often do a better job of being calm and helping others than ourselves. So… use that strength to your advantage and imagine what advice you’d give yourself!

All of the WYNN modern art. ONLINE COURSES are unedited so you can watch how I manage “real life” problems and challenges IN THE MOMENT, like the lid popping off my condiment bottle and pouring all over my piece! Or a straw dropping right onto my perfect flower or my camera falling right into the piece while I’m recording a lesson! It’s fun but also extremely helpful for my students to see how I deal with day to day problems. I’ve even poured the wrong color right onto my geode. At that point, there’s no going back! lol So I keep rolling and show you how I make that color combination work.
So many Youtube videos are edited. How is that supposed to REALLY help us?

Q: Is acrylic pouring as complicated as it seems?

A: It certainly can feel overwhelming and there are several steps to take to ensure success but with that being said, artist or not, you can create art worthy of hanging on your walls!
I have heard it time and time again: “With your courses Victoria, I never knew I could create something worthy of going in my living room, let alone selling!”

Can anyone success in acrylic pouring? I asked myself that question in October of 2018; before I discovered Victoria Wynn on Facebook. It was also before she launched her, highly sought after, online academy. I studied her work, trying to capture her unique way of pouring. I knew there was more to it – LUXE the key.

Fast forward to now, I’ve taken three of her courses, Luxe Master Class, Realistic Seascapes and Water Effects and Winning Strategies for Selling Art. I am succeeding and I owe it all to Wynn Modern Art.

Winning Strategies is course that helped me kick it up a notch and earn my first HUGE commission. I recommend any one to take this course because it’s goes beyond the canvas. The secrets revealed can be applied to any form of art.

I can proudly say, “I’m a Luxe Fluid Artist” without hesitation. The best investment of my acrylic pouring career.

I’m just starting this course after taking all of your fluid art courses. First step – business instagram and facebook accounts – although not revealed until ready for viewing. I tried to follow you on instagram but it won’t open any posts. I would like to get a visual of what a well thought out business account should look like, so I figured your’s would be the best! All this background work is keeping me from painting though!
